In fall 2021 and at various intervals thereafter, the Ministère des Transports du Québec must undertake maintenance work on the landing strip and access road in order to maintain the quality of service for the population. To carry out these works, granular materials must be produced over a period of 10 years, hence the need to expand the existing quarry over a total area of less than 3 ha. The certificate of authorization for the existing quarry was already amended in 2016 for its implementation. The present request aims to obtain a second amendment for its expansion.
