Description

The project includes:
– Dismantling the obsolete main culvert;
– Clearing existing material to install the granular base of the culvert;
– Installing waterproof wood or concrete cut-off walls;
– Installing the six culverts, including landscaping the extremities according to plans, backfilling and building a granular pavement structure. Exposed areas will be stabilized as work progresses;
– Installing guardrails, finishing the road embankments with gravel and restoring the road.

Cofferdams will be installed for the duration of the works to facilitate water management and, if necessary, the work area will be dewatered using a pumping system.

When possible, any backfill will be reused on site. If this is not possible, extra backfill will be transported within a 5-km radius and spread out in a thin layer.

No waste or scrap material will be buried on site, and no materials will be burned.
