The facility consists of a 4.5-m tripod on which various sensors will be mounted, including anemometers, thermometers, barometers, solar radiation sensors and air quality sensors. There will also be a rain gauge installed on a 1-metre pedestal. The latter will contain a 12-litre tank of antifreeze solution. Workers will be equipped with the recovery gear required in the event of a spill. Only 6 spikes need to be inserted into the ground to hold the tripod in place. An engraved plate will be installed on the infrastructure to alert passers-by to its purpose and help it blend into the landscape.
