The request aims to secure access to a sufficient volume of mineable rock for future maintenance needs, including for the airstrip and, eventually, for other projects. The request covers a 2.43-ha expansion of Quarry PUV ST-6, located 500 metres northwest of the airport runway. As a result, the quarry’s surface area would go from 6.96 ha to 9.39 ha.
